Mpowerment Fitness was started by Mel Nowak who had a vision of creating a space where individuals felt at home and empowered upon leaving the gym. So she designed a high quality training facility out of her home. Mpowerment Fitness aims to give people the tools to improve their day to day activities and do so pain free. By incorporating methods such as powerlifting, weightlifting, and compound body movements, clients can expect a simple yet effective workout.
Strength is a big focus at Mpowerment Fitness and through Mel's passion for powerlifting, she hopes that her clients develop the same appreciation for barbell training.

Mel is a CSEP Certified Personal Trainer and has a diploma in Health and Fitness from Mohawk College. She combines her education and background from powerlifting, crossfit and bodybuilding to design customized workout programs for every client.
Teaching individuals the fundamentals of resistance training and getting people strong is the mission of Mpowerment Fitness.
